Self assessment is critical for being able to address racism in ourselves and society. It is so easy to see the issue and its ramifications in others, really difficult to see it in ourselves, like a mirror that only shows the flaws in the opposite direction. Without some true reflection there is no way that real progress can be made.

One of the best tools for this is the “Race IAT” by  Project Implicit.
