“A33-year-old Lincoln man got prison time Monday for pointing a toy gun at morning commuters in front of the Hall of Justice last March.

Byron Wilson Jr. pleaded no contest to possession of a controlled substance and disturbing the peace.

Officers found him March 8 near the City-County Building and discovered what some passersby thought was a real gun was instead a toy.

Woman gets probation for bank theft
A judge Monday sentenced a former Wells Fargo Bank employee to four years of probation for stealing $3,000 from teller drawers.
Kathrine Worster, 57, pleaded no contest to 2 counts of felony theft. She and the bank agreed to restitution of $3000 but the state alleged she took thousands more while she was the service manager supervising tellers.
In July 2014 the bank contacted Lincoln police after an audit showed it was missing $75,990 from two teller drawers.
